Brass Low Temp Isolation Panel
Product Description
The Tamas Brass Isolation Panel is designed for systems where water/glycol separation is required, ideal for applications involving mixed-media loops or legacy Poly-B piping. The panel provides reliable system isolation while ensuring proper water flow and temperature regulation to the controlled zones.
When installed within a boiler system, the Isolation Panel responds to a call for heat from a thermostat (sold separately). Upon demand, the panel signals the boiler to enable heat production and simultaneously activates the System and Zone pumps on the panel. Once the thermostat is satisfied, the call for heat is removed, and the panel deactivates its pumps. Boiler-side post-purge functions continue as required by the boiler manufacturer, while the panel remains in standby.
For applications using an existing domestic hot water tank as the heat source, boiler-demand control is not necessary. The thermostat connects directly to the panel's low-voltage terminal strip, allowing the panel to operate the pumps on temperature demand without interacting with a boiler control circuit.
